As the year comes to a close, we’d like to review some of the most exciting events from the past year such as the EMAG Technology Forum and EMO Hannover.
EMAG Automation Becomes EMAG LaserTec
In January, the EMAG laser specialists located in Heubach, Germany changed their name from EMAG Automation to EMAG LaserTec. With the name change, the team wanted to demonstrate the importance of laser welding both now, and for the future – as this technology only continues to grow. For more information, visit here.
The Salach Technology Forum Sets a New Standard!
In May, the newly designed EMAG Technology Forum attracted a large number of visitors to EMAG Salach. With outstanding keynote speakers and a broad lecture program, we were able to provide visitors with exciting information on e-mobility, digitization and our state-of-the-art manufacturing systems. Opening of our New Production Hall!
After providing additional space for the 2019 EMAG Technology Forum, our new production hall was put into operation and the meeting rooms and offices were occupied.

EMAG at EMO Hannover
In September, it was time again for EMO, the world’s largest metalworking trade show. This year, EMO welcomed 117,000 visitors from 150 countries in Hannover, Germany. Despite the weakening economy, the EMAG booth attracted a large number of visitors.
New machines such as the VL 5 DUO and the LC 4-2 laser-cleaning machine were introduced to the public, and our new theme stands provided visitors with information on a wide variety of production solutions.

EMAG USA at Motion + Power Technology Expo
In October, EMAG USA participated in the newly branded Motion + Power Technology Expo at the TCF Center in Detroit, MI. Over the course of this three-day event, manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and experts in the mechanical power transmission, fluid power and electric drive industries gathered to discuss the latest industry trends and innovations. At EMAG, these systems have been a focus of ours for years, so we had plenty of solutions to present! With our variety of machines and technology solutions on display, we were able to attract a large crowd to the booth each day.
EMAG Honored by Sisamex as Outstanding Supplier
EMAG and Sisamex, part of the Mexican Quimmco Group, have had partnership for over 20-years. At its plants in Monterrey, Sisamex produces a wide variety of components for trucks and commercial vehicles for a variety of well-known manufacturers. Sisamex began their partnership with EMAG in 1997, and use a variety of our machines for soft and hard turning, grinding, hardening and laser welding. Decades of trust and cooperation, as well as the installation of the new laser-welding production line for truck differential housings were decisive factors in the decision to present EMAG with the Supplier Award.
