ECM Rifling: Precision barrel machining

This process enables the high-precision machining of gun barrels by creating complex internal geometries such as polygonal, progressive or standard rifling without mechanical or thermal stresses on the material. The use of special rifling modules in the modular PI machines allows the simultaneous machining of up to eight barrels, resulting in short cycle times and high efficiency.
