VTC 100 GT – Hard turning and grinding of rotor shafts in a single setup
The VTC 100 GT from EMAG enables complete-machining of rotor shafts by combining hard turning, Scroll free turning and grinding in a single setup. Bearing and seal ring seats are turned with precision and then ground to IT6 tolerances – with a surface finish of Rz 1–3 µm, free of tool marks. The vertical design ensures reliable chip removal, while integrated measuring and automation systems guarantee consistent part quality with a minimal footprint.
Solutions for the defense industry: ECM rifling & manufacturing systems for artillery ammunition
With the ECM rifling process, EMAG offers electrochemical barrel machining without mechanical stresses for polygonal, progressive, and standard rifling with maximum precision. Modular PI machines enable simultaneous barrel machining of two to eight barrels and flexibly adapt capacity to the respective requirements.
In addition, EMAG supplies fully automated manufacturing systems for artillery ammunition that guarantee dimensional accuracy and productivity at the level required by the defense industry
