Data security is ensured by a secure connection between the machine and the EMAG server. The connection can only be established with the approval of the customer. The online connection can be broken at any time, however.
By transferring the serial number, you can ensure that the right machine is connected to the system.
Expert link – the secure connection
The expert link is based on a secure online connection (EMAG VPN) between the machine and the server at EMAG. Connections are generally possible via (W)LAN or by mobile communication.
The connection is always established from the machine to the EMAG server. Access to the operating computer is possible, as well as data transfer from and to the hard drive of the control – however, only if the operator activates the software. Only when that software is activated does the machine establish a secure connection to the EMAG operator server, making the machine accessible to our service staff.
