Highly Productive Manufacturing of Standard and Premium Couplings on Modular Threading Machines

With the VLC 500 CM coupling threaders all threads used in the OCTG sector, including international (API, GOST) and proprietary standard (premium threads) are covered.

The VLC 500 CM was designed based on EMAG's modular machine concept and allows the machines to be customized to fit the required machining task. The proven vertical pick-up principle for the automatic loading and unloading of the machine, as well as its dynamic axes, minimizes idle times.

The VLC 500 CM coupling threading machine is completely customizable based on the customer’s requirements – either as a stand-alone machine or as part of a complete turnkey production line.

  • Tool turret with eight tool positions (Capto C8 / VDI 60) for high speed machining processes
  • Can be used as a stand-alone machine or linked with other machines
  • Powerful working spindle with up to 99 kW
  • Optional indexing chuck
  • Highly productive machining for all types of couplings between 2 3/8" – 9 5/8" in diameter and up to 400 mm in length
  • Production of all standard and company-specific thread types is possible (API couplings, GOST couplings, premium couplings)
