The VL Series vertical pick-up turning machines are examples of a new machine concept from the EMAG Group – modular machines.

The VL Series vertical pick-up turning machines were specially developed for manufacturing precision chucked components. To cover as wide a range of parts as possible, the VL Series is available in four versions for a workpiece diameter ranging from 10 mm to 400 mm.

LASER WELDING MACHINE FOR HIGH-OUTPUT PRODUCTION

The ELC 160 is a modular laser welding machine that can be configured for the most diverse tasks. The centerpiece of the ELC 160 laser welding machine is a three-axis NC machining module. Stationary process modules are mounted onto the base frame. The individual parts (e.g. gear wheel and synchronous gear) are loaded into the spindle and then transported from station to station. The mounted process modules are stationary and handle the machining of the component. Depending on the required output, the ELC 160 laser welding machine is also available in DUO and TRIO versions. The stations can be operated independently of each another, i.e. different parts can be produced simultaneously.

VL 1 TWIN / VLC 50 TWIN

VL 1 TWIN – HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE SIMULTANEOUS MACHINING

The VL 1 TWIN is equipped with two main spindles in one machining area that are able to machine two identical workpieces simultaneously. This results in a substantial increase in output quantities and lower unit cost. The diameter and length of the two workpieces can be adjusted independently by means of the two spindles. The machine is also equipped with a direct distance measuring system and an X-axis linear motor for maximum machining quality and productivity.

MIND-L 1000 – MODULARITY FOR OPTIMAL SOLUTIONS IN INDUCTION HARDENING

Focus on large batch sizes: The new generation of vertical rotary table machines from EMAG eldec has arrived. The MIND-L 1000 replaces the MIND 750 / 1500 series, whose performance has been proven over the last 10 years. This optimized modular solution reduces overall production costs, minimizing the price per unit. All functions have been optimized, all the way down to the very last detail, to deliver even better machine availability. The machines are automation ready, and come with an integrated gantry (optional), improving the possibility of integration in a production line. These machines were also designed to be easily accessible, making set-up and servicing activities a breeze. The rigid overall machine design and precise positioning ensure reproducible and consistently stable results. The system also includes comprehensive process and machine status monitoring with eQC (eldec quality control).
