Networking will be a primary topic for the EMAG Group at EMO. When we talk about networking, we have to look at it from a variety of different levels – networking between machines to generate data, networking between data and people to design solutions, networking between people to ensure the completion of necessary service tasks, and finally networking beyond companies to enable all production facilities to implement the industry 4.0 concept.
A very different type of networking between 17 different project partners and the VDW has led to the development of UMATI (Universal Machine Tool Interface), which will be unveiled for the very first time at EMO! A demonstration of this interface will be given in Hall 9, this is also where show attendees can learn more about this project. Find out more about EMAG’s implementation at our Industry 4.0 themed booth section.
