London calling! F\u00fcr unsere kaufm\u00e4nnischen Auszubildenden ging es vom 12.05. bis 01.06.2019 f\u00fcr die Zusatzqualifikation \u201eKaufmann International\u201c<\/strong> in die britische Hauptstadt.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In Kooperation mit der Kaufm\u00e4nnischen Schule G\u00f6ppingen gibt es im Rahmen der Ausbildung f\u00fcr Industriekaufleute die M\u00f6glichkeit, die Zusatzqualifikation \u201eKaufmann International\u201c nach den Standards der Industrie- und Handelskammer (IHK) zu absolvieren. F\u00fcr unsere beiden Auszubildenden Lorina Regge und Melissa Moonrach aus dem dritten Lehrjahr war die Entscheidung einfach: Wir gehen nach London und holen uns die Zusatzqualifikation!<\/p>\n

Nachdem sie alle notwendigen Dokumente eingeholt hatten, konnten sie ihre Bewerbungsunterlagen f\u00fcr das Programm einreichen. So sind sie ihrem dreiw\u00f6chigen Aufenthalt schon ein kleines St\u00fcck n\u00e4hergekommen. Fast genau vor einem Jahr war klar: Es kann losgehen! Die Zusage von der IHK war bei EMAG angekommen und die Freude gro\u00df.<\/p>\n

Der Ablauf – \u201eKaufmann International\u201c\u00a0 in London
\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n

W\u00e4hrend des Aufenthalts in London wohnen die Auszubildenden bei britischen Gastfamilien. Diese werden im Vorfeld von der IHK ausgew\u00e4hlt. Bei einem Aufenthalt in einer Gastfamilie profitieren die Auszubildenden vor allem von besonders authentischen Eindr\u00fccken.<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend der Zeit in London besuchen alle Auszubildenden das European College of Business and Management. Darunter wird auch die Bildungsakademie der Deutsch-Britischen-Industrie- und Handelskammer UK verstanden. Der Unterricht wird in englischer Sprache von muttersprachlichen Dozenten geleitet. Neben dem allgemeinen Unterricht gibt es Exkursionen mit fachlichem und kulturellem Hintergrund, um das Erlernte zu vertiefen. Am Ende des Lehrgangs wird eine schriftliche und m\u00fcndliche Pr\u00fcfung abgelegt.<\/p>\n

Zur\u00fcck zu Lorina und Melissa<\/h3>\n

Die Reise startete f\u00fcr die beiden von Stuttgart \u00fcber den Flughafen London Heathrow. Dort angekommen, versorgten sich die beiden zun\u00e4chst mit Tickets f\u00fcr die \u00f6ffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, und dann ging es auch schon weiter zu den Gastfamilien.<\/p>\n

Der zweite Tag in London startete um 9:30 Uhr mit dem Unterricht und einer Vorstellungsrunde.<\/p>\n

Im Anschluss wurde das Programm f\u00fcr die kommenden Tage erl\u00e4utert. Nach dem ersten Schultag stand ein Besuch des London Eye und des Buckingham Palace auf dem Plan.<\/p>\n

In den n\u00e4chsten Tagen lernten die beiden vieles \u00fcber das richtige Pr\u00e4sentieren, das Schreiben von Gesch\u00e4ftsbriefen und die dazugeh\u00f6rigen Phrasen und Redewendungen. Zudem konnten sie ihre Kenntnisse im Marketing und im Bereich der Kommunikation verbessern. In der letzten Woche folgten au\u00dferdem noch Inhalte zur Verbesserung der interkulturellen Kompetenz, Globalisierung, Finanzen, Wirtschaft und zur britischen Gesetzgebung.<\/p>\n

Zum Teil des Unterrichts geh\u00f6rte auch ein Besuch im \u201eOld Bailey\u201c. Das ist ein offizieller Strafgerichtshof, der bedeutende Kriminalf\u00e4lle des Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreichs verhandelt. Die Schulklasse konnte dort bei verschiedenen Anh\u00f6rungen zu Terror und Mord zuh\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n

An den letzten beiden Tagen ihres Aufenthalts wurden die m\u00fcndliche und schriftliche Pr\u00fcfung ablegt, welche die beiden sehr erfolgreich meisterten. Nach der Pr\u00fcfung fand man noch Zeit f\u00fcr einen kurzen Besuch auf dem ber\u00fchmten Gleis 9\u00be im Harry Potter Shop.<\/p>\n

Insgesamt hatten die beiden einen tollen Aufenthalt in London und m\u00f6chten die Stadt auch gerne ein weiteres Mal besuchen. Gl\u00fcck mit dem Wetter hatten sie auch, denn es hatte w\u00e4hrend ihres Besuchs nur zweimal geregnet.<\/p>\n
