Our experience ranges from establishing design thinking processes, to IoT strategies for global corporations, all the way to the development of incubators for systematic development of new business ideas.<\/p>\n<p>The fields covered include such areas as networked life, urbanity and mobility, life science, industry 4.0 and the future of energy. At Intuity, we live in an interdisciplinary work environment to meet our customers\u2019 expectations and to reply in as holistic a manner as possible to the questions that are given to us. We employ designers, physicists, biologists, architects, computer scientists, as well as data science and machine learning specialists\u2014this allows us to approach issues without any \u201cbarriers in our minds\u201d and to develop new ideas.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080\"><em>Are there any subjects in your work that have become noticeably more important in recent years? If so, what are the reasons for this in your opinion?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Terms such as industry 4.0, IoT, networking, and digitalization are not really new anymore. Yet, these are the subject areas that keep us busy every day. Today, we tend to think of them as breeding grounds for many new ideas to develop. Networks arise out of products, organizations and people who cooperate with each other using software. One could therefore say that it is these complex, networked systems that are increasingly becoming the core content of our work. We stand by our customers in these areas as well as in the concrete implementation of products.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080\"><em>To what extent will these topics be part of your presentation at the technology forum?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In a networked world, systemic thinking is really a matter of course. Yet, networked systems are frequently still being considered from the perspective of the IT networking concept. I want to make it clear in my presentation that this falls short of the mark, because after all there\u2019s always a user on the other side of the screen. In my presentation, I want to clarify why one should think in terms of systems and to do so, I will, for example, compare established major organizations with the agile working method of start-ups, and point out both possibilities and limitations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080\"><em>Tell us very briefly why your presentation is one that should not be missed.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Very briefly: interdisciplinary approach! The view beyond the horizon. What is keeping other industries busy? What experiences can I transfer to my own industry? There are so many thrilling insights that systems thinking can offer, so drop in by all means.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080\"><em>Mr. Turber thank you for your time as well as for the insights into Intuity\u2019s work and into your upcoming talk.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Industry 4.0 at the 2019 Technology Forum<\/h3>\n<p>In addition to this and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emag.com\/blog\/en\/interview-zaeh-technology-forum\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Prof. Z\u00e4h\u2019s talks<\/span><\/a>, EMAG will be dedicating two booths in the themed area to networked production.
