Workholding equipment changes made quick and easy

When the machine guard is open, ready for the workholding unit to be changed, pressing a button on the EMAG Spindelfix element mechanically locks the main spindle and activates limit switches that monitor the process. Once the front guard is closed and the Automatic cycle activated, the locking mechanism automatically unlocks the main spindle again.

With EMAG SPINDELFIX you save between 30% and 40% on normal set-up times.

Taking an average of 3 set-ups per day, an average set-up time of 30 minutes and an average hourly rate of EUR 75,- this will save you:

  • EUR 9.000,– for 120 hours a year
