For new machines...
From 2010 forward we are offering you the new generation of our online services as part of the purchase of a new EMAG machine. The components required for EMAG REMOTE EXPERTS (NIC, control system with Assistance function) are part of the basic equipment for every machine with Siemens 840D control system with PCU 50 V2 and 512 MB RAM. Activation of EMAG REMOTE EXPERTS can be added as an option to the machine order. When a standalone machine (not part of the network) needs to be connected, a UMTS router needs to be fitted. The purchase of a new machine does include the costs for installation and commissioning of the EMAG REMOTE EXPERTS.
Access to the substantial benefits of the EMAG REMOTE EXPERTS services will cost you EUR 2,500 per machine/p.a. . With the 3rd machine these costs will decrease by 20 % to EUR 2,000.
Machines built in 2004 and earlier...
EMAG machines built in 2004 and earlier are equipped with Siemens 840D control and (at least) PCU 50 V2 and 512 MB RAM include an integral NIC (Network Interface Card). When a standalone machine (not part of the network) is to be connected to EMAG REMOTE EXPERTS a UMTS router needs to be fitted. Installation and commissioning of this unit is carried out by an EMAG Service Engineer.
Access to the substantial benefits of the EMAG REMOTE EXPERTS services will cost you EUR 2,500 per machine/p.a. . With the 3rd machine these costs will decrease by 20 % to EUR 2,000.

Machines delivered prior to 2004...
EMAG machines delivered prior to 2004 have to have a UMTS router or an NIC fitted. This has to be done by an EMAG Service Engineer who will also update control soft- and hardware.
Access to the benefits of the EMAG REMOTE EXPERTS services will cost you EUR 2,500 per machine/p.a. . With the 3rd machine these costs will reduce by 20 % to EUR 2,000.
