All EMAG’s knowledge is accessible to you at the touch of a button. Expert Support starts with the continuous logging of operating data and machine breakdowns.
You will receive a quarterly machine evaluation. Also, if you press the Assistance key and we will give you our most comprehensive expert support.
Expert Link – the secure connection
The Expert Link is created by a secure online connection (EMAG VPN) between the machine and the relevant EMAG Server. Installation of the secure EMAG VPN connection always starts with the machine and ends with the EMAG Server.
It gives access to the operator’s computer and allows for data transfers to and from the control system’s hard drive, but only if the operator activates the software! Without the activation the EMAG Server will have no access to the machine. Activation establishes a secure connection to the EMAG Operator and makes the machine accessible to our service team.
This is what Expert Link offers you:
- UMTS router or network linked to machine via secure online connection (EMAG VPN).
- Regular, automatic monitoring and safeguarding of the online connection via the machine.
- Notification of any accidental disconnection.
- EMAG REMOTE EXPERTS Services activated with Assistance key.
- When you or your operator pushes the button the machine sends an up-to-date error report to EMAG Service. The report can, if necessary, be supplemented with further information (e.g. a question from or the telephone number of the operator).
- Possible access to the operator’s computer and data transfer to the control system’s hard drive.
- EMAG experts can only gain access to the machine when the customer has activated the package. Every type of external access has to be verified.
