The VLC 7 CNC Lathe (chuck dia. 400 mm) is a vertical pick-up CNC lathe for large, heavy workpieces of up to 340 mm diameter. The CNC lathe is equipped with a recirculating workpiece conveyor. Pick-up spindle and conveyor belt ensure that the CNC lathe can load itself. The base of the machine is in polymer concrete MINERALIT®, a material well-known for its excellent damping quality. It makes for an extended tool life and outstanding surface finishes. The machine base carries the overhead slide in which the main spindle is located.
