The VSC 400 WF is designed for gear-type workpieces and offers the user flexibility, because it can be used either as a single-spindle turning machine, a gear hobbing machine or as a combination of the two. Its main application is in the machining of gear profiles in medium or large batches. The machine maintains high precision throughout complete-machining in a single setup and thus the effectively eliminates reclamping errors.
